Bought it last night in Tesco. Lush does not even begin to describe it! I had it on icecream, soooooo good and vegan :)

Oh my, I am so jealous! That looks a lot like Cookie Butter from Trader Joe's, I've had it once and it was so good we ate it all with a spoon in two days. tongue3.gif

Oh. My. God!

I used to love those biscuits, they always seemed to have them at the hairdressers :-)

Yes, I'm addicted to this stuff! I managed to eat an entire pot by myself over the course of a week. :>

I personally prefer the spread to the biscuits.

(Funny that when you posted this, I had just made myself a Lotus sandwich!)

I will note in advance I've not ate the spread.
The biscuits are caramel flavour/high dark sugar. They are lush in coffee.

I'll take your word that it's lush. It feels like pure sugar to me.

Looks delicious! Any serving suggestions? (although it seems 'off the spoon' might be a popular choice!)

Hi MollyN and welcome to VeggieBoards.

I presume a lot of people would just spread it on bread to make a sandwich.

When I actually saw it in the supermarket, I couldn't bring myself to buy it because the sugar and fat contents were so high, although I already knew that.

I love Biscoff cookies so the spread has always called out to me, but I've somehow resisted temptation. Trader Joe's here in the States makes their own knockoff "cookie butter" too. I've heard melted in the microwave (or on the stovetop) that it's an excellent topping for popcorn. *drools*

On another note, thanks a lot whoever started this thread because now, I'm going to have to buy a jar of Trader Joe's cookie butter!!!

I've had the Trader Joe's Cookie Butter once and liked it, but can't bring myself to eat something so high in sugar and fat. For those who don't have a problem with that kind of thing, you'll probably love it.

I was doubting buying one yesterday, guess I'll give it a go soon then!
