I love Farm Sanctuary -- I don't know much about them except for what I saw on Peaceable Kingdom but what I saw was awesome.

I won't be going this year but hopefully next year. It seems like it would be loads of fun. Have you been on a walk before? I watched that video and bookmarked it -- I love the last half of it. I read the comments too and it's great that most supported the video. That one 13 year old sent $20 to Farm Sanctuary after watching the video.

I went last year and will probably be going again this year (don't have much reason not to seeing as the walk starts 3 blocks from my place)

I just got back from the Portland, OR walk!

We got a great turnout and overall it was a really positive march.

Start time: 11 AM End time: 1 PM

We had "Radical Cheerleaders" making up vegan chants, people handing out Farm Sanctuary leaflets and vegan recipes, and the majority of us holding up signs.

Great day to march considering Saturday Market was going on at the time and it was also real sunny.

A raffle was held at the very end with lots of vegan goodies, but i didn't win anything.



I highly recommend attending a Farm Sanctuary walk near you, all the donations go to a good cause and you have the opportunity to meet like-minded people in a positive environment!

Most definitely. I'm going to save the flyer as a reminder to check next year (because heaven knows I'll forget)

It's not even offered here in Louisiana. How disappointing!
