I know there is vegetable based conventional printing inks (like the stuff used on your junk mail, letterheads, posters, etc) but not sure about desktop printers. I don't see the need, personally, for animal testing or animal ingredients for these cartridges.

I'm not aware of any vegan ink cartridges for printers. But my big suggestion if you don't already do it is to try to go to places that refill ink cartridges rather than buying new ones when yours run out...it's cheaper AND better for the planet not having all those spent cartridges lying around.

I was also looking for printer ink and printer toner for my personal printer. I did some searching and found Soy Print Inc. I contacted Matthew Airey (National Marketing & Sales Mgr.) who is the contact listed on their site.

He told me that their products contain no animal ingredients. I now realize I forgot to ask about animal testing, but I encourage you to contact them about their ingredients anyway in case they were just telling me what I wanted to hear.

They have toner cartridges for many models and I bought a used laser printer off amazon (I have a thing about buying products made in poor labor conditions) to fit one of their cheaper cartridges. I don't know if they offer inkjet products or not.

color ink cartridge\t
printing green is such a breakthrough but sadly only few ones supports it.. if prices of soy toner/ink could match up the prices of our typical color ink cartridges or probably be much lower than it,many people would use it instead..
