Hi. I was just wondering. Does it taste anything like real mayo? I use to HATE mayonaisse, so I don't want to buy a whole jar and end up not liking it.

thanks.

It tastes like love.

Actually, what I thought it first tasted like was a mayo/mustard hybrid. Anyway, it is good, so you should try it.

I don't know either but I'm curious. The jars at my local health food store are pretty pricey, so I'm interested in hearing some reviews before spending the $.

It tastes yummy! I haven't had real mayonnaise in so long that I couldn't really say if it tastes exactly like that. But I like it in all the things I used to like mayo in, so it's probably close.

I'm not a fan of real mayonnaise, either, and to me, Veganaise tastes more like Miracle Whip salad dressing but more tangy. I think it's delicious.

If you don't like mayo why do you want to use veganaise?

It works in different kinds of salads and stuff; it has the same consistency as mayo so you can use it that way if that's what you're wondering

Well, it's great they are coming out with new options, but I think I'll stick to the full-fat kind...

Yum...vegetable fat.

Veganaise is absolutely delicious. I often grab a vegan BLT at a local place in Boston.. they throw veganaise on it and it tastes soooo good. So much better than real mayo.

I never liked mayo but I think vegenaise is pretty darn good

It's not really like anything you've probably ever had before, the only way to know if you'll like it is to actually try it

Before I was veg, I always used Miracle Whip Lite... not real mayo.

Veganaise to me tastes a lot like that. Great on sandwiches/pasta salads etc... but also I've found it's a nice substitute for sour cream on burritos/tacos etc...

I think Vegenaise is amazing. When I used to eat mayonnaise, I could really only use it as a light spread. Otherwise, I found it somewhat nasty. I can lick Vegenaise off the knife when I use it, and I tend to use too much of it. It tastes great, really. :]

I've never tasted poop, but if it tastes like Vegenaise, I am seeing a very low cost alternative here...

To me it tastes like mayo...or at least what I remember mayo tasting like. I never liked Miracle Whip. I don't think it tastes like Miracle Whip.

It is tasty!

Really? I guess it's just personal taste. Veganaise is good though. I love that stuff.

a never ending supply of cheap Veganaise...of course you may need to work on smell, color and texture.

I think that is the most disgusting post I have ever made, yet I am still hitting reply.

Maybe my tastebuds have changed or maybe I've forgotten what Miracle Whip tastes like?

Y'all are gonna make me go stick my finger in the jar to check

It tastes more like mayo than miracle whip to me as well. I always hated miracle whip. I dig vegenaise--especially the kind with grapeseed oil. Ahh who am I kidding, the regular kind is great, too. I think I'm going to order some of their salad dressings from their website. Oh the love! Love is right...whoever said that earlier. *flitters out of the room*

Don't forget that it would be full of natural B12 too.
