Did you mean they didn't give up "meat" because they DID like the flavor?

I know it can be classified as vegan as long as it's not REAL cheese, but it's just kind of interesting to think about it, you know? Because humans have been eating dairy for 9,000 years, it's like there's a certain inclination to feel like we need to. Though of course we know we don't need dairy, it's just weird to think about. A substitution for everything. Like we need to feel like we're eating animal foods and have things taste like it's real animal food. I'm kind of analytical towards a lot of things, including my own lifestyle. It's just kinda funny. :-)
