I am pretty proud. I have been saying for at least two years "I could never be vegan, I like cheese too much." And it hasnt even been that hard!! I have had cravings, but they werent so strong that I couldnt say no. When I get a craving for something then I will just go and eat something like vegan junk food. I keep some So Delicious ice cream on hand for those emergencies (and also any other time of the day).
I think it was also a lot easier for me too because I gave up eggs two years ago, and have been reading ingredient lists to check for them for at least that long. I think if I had to give up eggs/cheese/trace ingredients all in one shot it would have been somewhat overwhelming.
Now my next goal is to give up soda. That will be more difficult I suspect than the dairy.
