75. But I eat ORGANIC milk and ORGANIC eggs. That's just as good. Oh, and I only eat grass-fed beef.

76. What's the point? There's no hope for this planet anyways. What difference is ONE PERSON going to make?

77. Ive called my husband bee vomit for two decades already, and since he wont agree with a new companion human name, continuing to call him so will definitely trigger cravings in me. Therefore I cant go vegan unless we divorce.

That would just add to the stereotype of veganism as emasculating.

89. I'm ignorant about the ingredients on the shampoo bottle. Am I expected to find one that says "no animal ingredients, no animal testing"?

Hear this one alot from my fellow philosophy grad students and even professors:

90. I'm fully aware that the moral arguments for being vegan are way stronger than the moral arguments for eating meat. But oh well, I like my meat, and so I will eat it anyway, even though I fully acknowledge that it's wrong. I can know that I ought to become a vegan but still choose not to do it, just like I can know that I ought to give more to charity but still choose not to do it.

Makes me STABBY. People who say stuff like this think they're cool or something but they just end up looking like incontinent moral weaklings.

91. I eat meat for the environment. The environmental impact from gas producing vegans due to legume consumption is far more devastating than factory farm run off and methane producing dairy farms.

92. Eating meat isn't perpetuating the demand for it, I'm helping to curb atmospheric methane by eating more cows.

93. I only buy meat that's already dead, and eggs and milk that's already sitting in the store. Is it just supposed to go to waste? Then the animal would have died/been milked/layed an egg for nothing.

94. Eating vegan is "triggering."

"If you want to know where you would have stood on slavery before the civil war, don't look at where you stand on slavery today, look at where you stand on animal rights." - Paul Watson.

Every animal you eat
was running for her life
