Hello, I'm not vegan, or vegetarian, I just had a question that has been bugging me lately.

I've come across vegans and animal rights activist who condone or promote violence against those who don't see things their way, especially on the internet.

A good example is a bunch of comments I had read on another site about a video that was posted that showed how japanese fishermen fish for dolphins. A lot of disgruntled individuals said things along the lines of "Those jap *******s need to die." or "I would love to kill you and your family." Why would they want to do bodily injury to someone else just because they have a different way of life and different opinions then you?

I was just wondering if a majority of vegans and animal rights activist feel this way or if it's just a minority with a very loud voice? Could it be the animosity of the internet that allows them to say such heinous things?
