As a straight guy, I'd have to vote for Alicia. Holy hotties, Batman!

And also Dennis Kucinich's wife. They're one of those couples where you see them and just assume he's got to be rich to have ended up with such a gorgeous younger woman. I'm just assuming she's vegan like him.

Carl Lewis.

Nothing shuts down that 'vegans are unhealthy' bollocks faster than mentioning vegan with 9 gold Olympic medals.

I'm not a celebrity buff, but I'd vote for Fiona Apple. Just on the music side. She's recorded some great songs, has a wonderful deep syrupy voice that's just so good to listen to.

Moby! Actually the first time I ever heard the word "vegan" and learned what one was, was from him. And I love his music!

I guess HappyCow is wrong. Not the first time a website had false information. Actually, they are incorrect about another one: they don't have Tobey Maguire listed as vegan, but he is.

I guess I'll have to change my vote to Silverstone...

I'd consider myself a big Nat fan and as far as my stalking can tell, she isn't vegan (and I've never heard that she is before). I'd love it if she was though, maybe she's made the change recently and not spilled the beans to many people.

Thom Yorke (lead singer of Radiohead)

He's not just a vegan, but also also a fair-trade supporter, anti-WTO, anti-war etc.

Joaquin Phoenix (I just love him generally, he's such a great actor and seems so humble and kind in every interview I've seen) and Alicia Silverstone (because whenever she talks about veganism, she is so positive and radiant!). Also Jorja Fox from CSI. I like Natalie Portman and Toby Maguire, but I thought the were vegetarian, not vegan. Oh, and I can't forget to mention Moby!

I feel that Pamela Anderson speaks more for the animals than any other single celebrity. She has unselfishly put the animals even before her career. The more I hear about her, the more I am impressed with her. I have even heard some higher ups at PETA state that she is the best spokesperson they have ever had.
