Absolutely, especially when they're lightly toasted. I often have some at breakfast, served with a quinoa wafer and maple syrup.

I use walnuts a lot. In recipes that call for expensive pine nuts- sub walnuts, esp in pesto.
In salads. Nut loaves. Mushroom walnut pate. Mixed with melted dark chocolate chips with raisins

I do now. I used to get tired of walnuts because they are in just about every baked treat. Almost as much as peanuts are in just about everything. I often substitute Pecans in recipes that call for walnuts. But, lately I have been enjoying them more. Perhaps because I stopped having them so often. And because I discovered how much better they are when they are fresh as opposed to when they have been sitting on a store shelf in a bag for a while.

Indeed I do. I find the organic ones in the bulk bin at the natural foods store to be much sweeter and tastier than the supermarket brands. But I like them all.

I enjoy them crushed and sprinkled over my oatmeal and salads. I also use them in a number of recipes. The only thing is, I don't sit and eat handfuls because they are addictive. I try to use them as a condiment to get the nutritional value without having to wear them on my hips.

I don't particularly enjoy them. They are OK.

If you are eating them for the Omega 3s, but not enjoying it, try buying chia seeds instead, grinding them, and adding them to food in such quantities that you can't even taste it.
