VegNews April Fool's page

I wish VegNews would stop with their hope-dashing headlines on April Fool's Day.

This year, they feature a "KFC Launches Vegan Chicken Bucket" headline. Well, I just can't see the humor in it. I want it to be true, and VegNews sees it as a joke. Are we, the vegan readership, the "April Fools" here?

If you feel the same, please consider sending them an email and tell them to go to hell, and/or threaten to stop purchasing their magazine:;...C5DF325E7FA399

Specific recommendations for a healthy diet include: eating more fruit, vegetables, legumes, nuts and grains; cutting down on salt, sugar and fats. It is also advisable to choose unsaturated fats, instead of saturated fats and towards the elimination of trans-fatty acids."

When you include "KFC" there's no chance at humor...

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good

KFC, as my nephew calls it, is Kids Fattening Center. I call it Kentucky Fried Cra...Uh, Crud. I wouldn't eat there if they did have a vegan option. KFC

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.
