This is great movie. I think its claims are accurate.

They did slightly exaggerate the extent to which environmental movements ignore the environmental impacts of animal agriculture, making it out like some giant conspiracy, but I think that was understandable because that was needed to help the film have an angle to generate commercial success and find a wider audience.

The much-focused on claim that animal agriculture accounts for 51% of CO2e emissions/global warming is arguably cherry picked since there are a range of other studies that put it more in the range of 10%-30%. However, that'is still a lot.

I am going to share this on facebook I think, the 15-minute version. However, I have a doubt about whether we should be sharing around youtube versions of a movie that may or may not be legal since this movie is on sale. However, perhaps if the person who made the movie really is committed to environtalism and veganism rather than profit making, maybe they will allow it to enable a wider audience to be reached. I wrote to them to see what they think. A reasonable compromise might be to share the 15-minute movie on facebook with a link to buying the full version.

Love this docu. It had a great impact on my decisions and actions, nothing was the same after I watched it.
The producer is Leonardo Di Caprio and he just made another movie about climate change, it's called Before the Flood and you can watch it for free on a few websites.

I got a reply from the Cowspiracy Team at AUM films. They say they do not support the sharing of free youtube version on facebook and forums as it would be considered copyright infringement, and that the money made helps to create more films like it.

the film company employee has to say what he has to say,

so it's understandable. btw, I'd suggest this short video too, no copyright issue
