Vegan wine and cheese tasting

Hell-o all,

First off I am sorry if I am posting this in the wrong forum, but I am crunched for time anyways. I was supposed to go to a wine and vegan cheese tasting in NYC tonight with my wife, but all this snow has her stuck out of town as lots of flights were canceled. I still plan on going, but now have an extra ticket that I would hate to see go to waste. I am here offering it up for free for anyone that is interested. Here is a link to the event for more details https://www.eventbrite.com/e/celebra...m-term=listing

As I type this I am starting to realize that this might be construed as spam, but I assure you I am not affiliated with the event and just want to offer this ticket up to anyone who wants it.

Cheers, Kevin

Edit: Here is the time and address
When Tuesday, January 26, 2016 from 6:30 PM to 8:30 PM (EST) Where VSPOT Organic - 12 Saint Marks Place New York, NY 10003

That sounds like so much fun! Pity I'm in the UK. Have you tried a local vegan group on Facebook?

I have tried a few FB groups, but I wasn't a member of them already, so waiting on authorization from the group admin to be added. Hope someone gets to use this ticket, but if not I'll just have to justify it by eating twice as much while there

Be careful. I don't want you (or anyone else) stuck in the storm.

Anytime I think I'm perfect, I remember that my cousin lives on an island, and I've never walked over to visit her.

Found someone

It was a blast. Ended up finding someone on a vegan NYC facebook group to give the ticket too and they had fun as well. Even managed to get a little togo container of the cheeses for my wife. Turns out her delay in MN gave her time to check out http://www.theherbivorousbutcher.com/ and she brought me home some goodies

Can't really complain, living next to NYC makes eating a vegan diet much easier and enjoyable for sure.

There are lots of ways to travel and see the world without having to live off of beer and french fries (chips) though. We went on a cruise to Alaska with a vegan group and the boat was stocked with great food we could eat, and are thinking of going with them again this time down to Panama http://www.vegancruiseplanners.com/rw/view/5802

At the event Miyoko was talking about Vegan Italian vacations she was partnering with, being in the UK you are closer than I am. If you want to check them out here is the link http://www.ecorazzi.com/2015/02/27/j...outhern-italy/ I went to Tuscany before, but nto with a vegan group and found it easy to find great food everywhere no problem though, so not sure if an Italian Vegan specific vacation is really necessary.
