YouTube Channels

Just wondered what youtube channels other members follow.

I recently found Unnatural Vegan and like her a lot. In particular I like the way she calmly and thoughtfully challenges some of the popular myths and woo that can be associated to veganism:

https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCJB...1WeipWMBWKJ7Rg

I've also just begun following A Privileged Vegan who speaks clearly and eloquently on a number of intersectional topics from a vegan perspective:

https://www.youtube.com/user/Highonfruit1

Can anyone recommend more intelligent and non-drama, non-celeb, non-hero worship focused vegan channels? I'm particularly interested in thought provoking topics based on sound science and rational, logical argument

Kerry McCarpet is brilliant. She is heads and shoulders above anyone else, though more speculative than rigorously scientific.

I love her voice and to hear her thought processes.

Vegan Health and Fitness: Really informative and proving you don't need meat products to get a great physique.
Jon Venus: Vegan bodybuilder and a cool guy.
Tim Shieff: World free running champion.
The Vegan Cheetah: A little bit controversial but very interesting to watch.
Bitesize Vegan: Great information for vegans and non-vegans, loads of interesting videos.
Vegan Gains- Killing it right now, extremely controversial but having a massive effect over the Youtube fitness community.

Yeah, Unnatural Vegan has a level head, and a rational approach. Also cool are videos from John McDougall, Michael Greger, Michael Klaper, Vegan Veins, and Emily Vegan Flower. I used to watch Richie Fruit Bat all the time, but he abruptly stopped making videos

Yeah Vegan Gains is kinda mad and i'm not sure of his approach but you can't argue with the affect he's having. Although now meat eaters think we're all like him.

I really enjoy watching Happy Healthy Vegan, Unnatural Vegan, Bite Size Vegan and The Veggie Nuts (with a separate blog channel called Veggie Nut). I can't really watch people like Freelee or Durianrider, though. Their videos are very triggering to me, and afterwards I always find that I start having really negative thoughts about my physical appearance. I think these celebrity vegans can potentially have a bad impact on people by claiming that their vegan diet (whatever iteration they may follow) will make anyone look just like them. I can tell you with great certainty that I will never look like Freelee the Banana Girl And I need to stop trying to! Comparative thoughts like that always send me down a path of negativity.

Anyway, sorry for the tangent. The Veggie Nuts are pretty un-heard of, but I really like their channel because they're a very friendly couple who have found realistic and attainable success with weight loss on an approachable vegan diet. I suppose they're a lot like Happy Healthy Vegan in that regard, though they're more vegetable rather than fruit based. Here's their channel link if you're interested: https://www.youtube.com/user/TheVeggieNut

Colleen Pattrick-Goudreau is also worth a watch, just started following her. She seems like a sensible and thoughtful lady. Also nice to see more mature vegan representatives (Happy Healthy Vegan ditto) out there:

All animals should be respected & should have the ability to lead a natural & enjoyable life. This means not eating them, or abusing them in any way.

Yes, I'm subbed to Emily too

Another YouTuber I've started following is Cheap Lazy Vegan, I think she's a Canadian student in London (not quite sure as of yet, might have that totally wrong!) but her grocery hauls are really nice and practical for anyone concerned about the (often unfairly dramatised, though it can be as expensive as you choose to make it) cost aspect of veganism.

I'm loving Mommy Tangs Mukbangs Vegan Asian Mukbangs lately.
In Korea they have these cooking and eating shows called Mukbangs. They literally cook and eat on TV, usually large amounts of food. Mommy Tang is Korean and she's doing Mukbangs for vegans featuring her Korean recipes. She's funny and quirky. She's also inspired other Western vegan YouTube channels to do Mukbangs too.

I just realised how well you described mainstream Vegan channels on YouTube! (Sadly) Haha!
