I know there are some creative folks here, and I had this wacky idea, so I have to ask.

Has anyone ever dreamed up a viable formula for edible home made vegan sunscreen?

I was never very prone to burning and my diet basically makes me immune to it now so I'm not up on sunscreen issues. But I was watching someone prone to burning put on sunscreen, and I looked at the ingredients... yeah... not something I would touch much less ingest. (Use your imagination on why I'd be ingesting it :o)

Is there anything thats not toxic slime?

I have heard that you can use coconut oil as a sunscreen.

That would be great for dry skin, but I doubt it would block much sun.
