None of this is healthy but good to know if you're ever craving a little convenient junk food! grin.gif

I didn't know Pillsbury Crescent Rolls were vegan!

Bac-O's are a fine snack (not exactly health food though) but they absolutely stink to use in recipes. They just rehydrate like TSP and all the flavor gets watered down. I tried stirring them into grits and the result was most unsatisfactory.

Baco's are terrible IN foods, like you say, but I just found how much I like them ON things!

Best part is that I actually just use a serving size of one tablespoon :p
Sprinkle on salad, on tofu, and esp. a lazy BLT! Some vegan mayo, tomato, lettuce and baco's!

Nope! I think they did originally but they got rid of that many years ago.

According to the Nabisco website, original Oreo cookies contain enriched flour, sugar, high oleic canola oil or soybean oil, cocoa, high fructose corn syrup, leavening, cornstarch, salt, soy lecithin, vanillin, and chocolate. One cookie contains 160 calories. Ingredient and nutrition information are available on the back of packages.

The ingredients certainly aren't HEALTHY but they are animal product free and delicious. tongue3.gif

Not in the USA. They're vegan.

Well, they are only if you don't mind the source of the sugar. Since Oreo aren't made from organic sugar, it's safe to assume that the sugar Nabisco uses has bone-char in it.

lol.  I mostly eat very healthy but on occasion...eh hem... I allow for treats.  I am only human after all.  Yesterday someone at work offered me gummy bears knowing I would turn them down since I am vegan.  But I joked that technically twizzlers are vegan and I would be open to those if someone offered me one.  I wanted her to see that vegan isn't all about tofu and sprouts.  I also bring vegan goodies to work on occasion.  I bring things laced with chocolate and peanut butter and maple syrup and they all consider my treats "healthy" because they are vegan lol.
