I've been frequenting Chicago's farmer's markets for the past several years and they are getting better all of the time. The number of vegan and vegetarian offerings has increased with the number of organic and vegan-friendly farms participating. I stopped by one of my local markets and picked up three great products by River Valley Kitchens based in Burlington, Wisconsin. RVK operates out of Wisconsin and is a vendor at Wisconsin farmer's markets, but also participates in farmer's markets throughout northern and northeastern Illinois. So that got me thinking, what are some great vegan finds at your local farmer's market? I'm curious to find out what kinds of specialty items you can find in your locale's farmer's market.

Here are some pictures of the products I got and they are really tasty.

I've heard of the Sinful Bakery before! I have friends who live in Houston and even though they aren't veg, they said that Houston is increasingly getting more vegan and vegetarian options. According to PETA's list of top vegan cities, Austin sounds like it's even better.
