I am lucky enough to be heading back to Thailand for the 4th summer in a row. However this will be my first time over there since going vegan. Finding vegan meals is easy, but finding 3 meals a day filled with adequate protein is not. I can buy little bags of nuts at 7-11 but I cannot be chowing down on cashews and almonds all day to keep my energy up.

Any suggests of supplements, powders, protein bars, etc that would travel well in a hot climate and work with a backpackers lifestyle?

Clif bars and Primal vegan jerky would be my suggestions. Also roasted soybeans or chickpeas.
