April first will be the beginning of my 3 rd month as a vegan. I am trying to cut out as much processed foods as I can. I will soon be joining my vegan city chapter....and hope to go to veg fest in Austin. I have been searching for two months for a vegan sponsor....and hope to find the support here. I have tried seiten, and quinoa and yuckkkkkkk! I all sways called myself a humanist but becoming a vegan has aligned my head with my heart....I don't know if that even makes sense. I have oatmeal every day for breakfast and my father tells me that's bad...

My father is a PhD biochemist, he tells me having the same thing everyday for breakfast is not healthy. I never put the same thing in....today was raisins and soy nuts tomorrow apple cinnamon sometime fresh fruit so to me it isn't bad. Or is he right? Anyway thanks for response:)

Ty mother....I am trying to lose weight but that isn't why I became vegan....you guys have helped so much in just 3days I am feeling like I have like minded peeps as loving and caring as me...FINALLY oh huh yea and hubby bought me a steamer can't wait to get it....
