So far I've had coffee, a cookie, some chips and orange juice. Dinner tonight will be green rice casserole (a rice based casserole with spinach which makes the rice look green), and dinner rolls.

Stayed with the inlaws for four days (all meat eaters) and brought all my own food for the entire trip. This is what I ate while there (I kept my food in my own coolers):

b: oat bran and fresh pineapple

L: baked beans (homemade); coleslaw (savoy cabbage, shredded carrot, onion, raisins, maple/mustard/vinegar dressing); Ezekiel cinnamon raisin English muffins just plain; almond milk

D: homemade pot pie (lima beans, peas, carrot, celery, onion, mushroom, homemade gravy and store bought organic whole wheat crust that was totally vegan too!); lemon sorbet, almond milk

His mother was nice enough to make me some spinach and rice just plain as a side dish for lunch a few times (the spinach was right from her garden) and she had fresh garden lettuce I added in with my coleslaw. I brought them a batch of fresh bananas in return.

So far I've had coffee and a cookie (I always like to start my morning with something sweet, but I usually switch to healthy food later on).

Tonight will be jackfruit pulled "pork" sandwiches (my husband's favorite) with baked beans (my favorite).

I don't know what else I'll eat throughout the day but we have watermelon in the fridge which is calling my name pretty loudly!

I'm curious about the yeast extract. Is that a supplement or some kind of food product you put on your toast?

I love beans on toast. Especially on thick white bread that has been toasted. Yum.

Its pizza night here, and I will be ordering a thin crust veggie pizza (sans cheese) for dinner. I cant wait, I *heart* pizza.

It's a dark, sticky, savoury spread - the most popular brand is Marmite but I have a cheap supermarket version at the moment Full of vitamins and minerals. I love it!

S - Green smoothie
L - Caponata with oatcakes, Nakd bar
S - Crisps with houmous
D - Frozen banana icecream, chocolate covered Nakd bar, pineapple juice. It's too hot to eat proper food!
