Today so far I've had my typical muesli mix with soy milk. I'm about to have half a watermelon for lunch with a couple bananas, probably.

But probably more exciting is what I had for lunch yesterday with a friend...
Mine is the Ab Fab burger on the left, hers is the Mexican at the front. (And that's her pepsi, would never let that acid touch my tongue unless there was scotch or rum mixed in)
We went to this all vegan place in my city and they tasted soooo good!! Although we did have to roll ourselves out of there, the burgers are giant!

B: smoothie (pineapple, banana, turnip greens, almond milk, Vega protein powder)

MS: slice homemade whole wheat bread, more fresh pineapple

L: : cold wild rice salad (wild rice, walnut pieces, dried cranberry, celery, onion, raw spinach, maple/vinegar/mustard dressing); almond milk and a plum

D: I ate out for maybe the third time this year. It is still a struggle for me to eat in public and at a restaurant. I was very conservative with my choices and anxious as all heck. And frankly a bit discouraged at my inability to enjoy food when there is a social element involved. I have been battling this for years. Sigh.
My Mom took me out for an early birthday present to a Mexican type restaurant

Garden salad with grilled veggies in there and vegan ding sauce (specially made for vegans!). Corn tortilla chips with house made salsa. Tea

evening snack: a few brazil nuts

Well done for going through with it! For me, the temptation to always cancel and make up excuses is way too high! I hope you felt better by the end of your meal at least.. And happy birthday for when it comes around
