B: Two cups of coffee

L: A giant bowl of macaroni noodles cooked in vegan chicken broth (it's a comfort food from my childhood - my grandma used to feed me this when I was little)

D: Chili! (with black beans, kidney beans, green beans, and corn)

S: Oreos and soy milk

And now I'm getting ready to settle down with a bottle of rum and some orange juice.

Of course you are welcome, I am in this thread for acceptability too

I was at the Vegetarian Food Fair this weekend and ate a lot of snack-type stuff instead of real meals. Not ideal, nutrition-wise, but it's only once a year. I had a vegan poutine, a granola bar with vegetables in it, a samosa with all sorts of good things, a bagel with raspberry peanut butter, a really nice chocolate mint cupcake...

Back to the healthy eating tomorrow

Okay here is the plan for today

Up very early
Two slices ww toast with almond butter and banana and a couple of cups of tea
S - apple
L - large pita with tabouli and hummus and a couple of stuffed grape leaves
D - marinated baked tofu with green beans and whole beets and a bit of rice or grain on the side.

Now here is the tricky part - the evening graze

Maybe just some popcorn with a bit of flax oil on it. Let's see if i can limit the evening time snacking.

Today was a typical day for me, I rode my bike to work and ate,

Glass of OJ before leaving the house

B: 50oz of Green Smoothie (celery, spinach, flax meal, plant based protein powder, 5 bananas, water)
S: 5 pears, 1lb blue berries
L: Banana wraps (8 bananas, half pound of green leaf lettuce)
S: 1 Banana, 2 medjool dates with pecans (4)
D: 2 lbs (before cooking) of boiled yellow potato with a side of home made coleslaw (half each of small green and red cabbage, 6 small carrots. Dressing 2 tbsp raw tahini, 1 tbsp lime juice, 3 dates, thinned with water.) Actually I mixed the potato with the coleslaw to warm it all up. It filled a large bowl. It was 0 celcius and snowing today.

Spare a heart, eat a plant.

B- coffee smoothie, toaster waffle with peanut butter
S- carrot sticks
L- baked beans over sticky rice, red peppers
S- peach
D- Amy's dairy-free Mac and cheese, watermelon

I had to stay very late at work today and the Mac and cheese was the best I could do off of limited grocery store dinner options. All of their meat-free prepared foods had cheese...

My plan for today

B- coffee smoothie, toaster waffle with peanut butter
S- red peppers
L- bagel with Daiya and mango jam, dried apple slices
S- watermelon, sesame granola bites
D- tofu stir-fry with sticky rice

I tweaked my food plan a little after the first week---you have the option to use one of your fruits for a carb, and since I always have the rice milk with breakfast for the fortified B12, I decided to make that permanent. The tracking app I am using allows for a dairy serving, so I made the fruits 2 servings instead of 3 and added a dairy for the rice milk, then I also reduced the fats to 2 servings instead of 3. If I have a treat, I sometimes use the fat servings for it and skip my pumpkin or sunflower seeds at snack.

After a week and a half of this, I have lost two pounds.

B - Two slices of wholemeal toast, one topped with marmite, peanut butter and banana slices and the other with vegan chocolate spread and banana

B: Coffee and chickpeas cooked in an Indian inspired tomato onion sauce

L: A Lara bar

D: Whole grain spaghetti with mock meat sauce, side of roasted red peppers and green olives, served with a glass of beer from a local brewery.

Work has me keeping strange hours - I woke up at one today, and worked 5-10, and am staying up late. My meals are more order I ate in than anything resembling "breakfast, lunch, dinner" in the more traditional sense. I guess as long as I'm working flexible hours my meals are going to look wonky.
