This is awesome! I've noticed the rise in interest especially over the last couple years but it's so cool to be able to see it! carrot.gif

Haha, I tried to do a trend search from my tablet and typed it wrong, apparently "vegab" is on the rise too!

But seriously, that's awesome, I'm sending this to my Dad he advises companies on market research and consumer trends. He actually just did a big food conference, he said the companies were advised to seek out more veg proteins other than soy bec price of meat and dairy is going way up over the next 20 years. Yellow pea was brought up, and veg products are indeed a big trend overall.

That's so great! Sad to say none of my friends or family are vegan, so it's reassuring to see that there *is* a change happening! smiley.gif

Yay! I've also noticed that more and more people know what I'm talking about when I say I'm vegan! One time, I didn't say 'vegan', but 'vegetarian' and the guy looked at me for a moment and then asked if I meant vegan. I was so surprised, because that hadn't happened before, but very pleased since that means veganism is becoming a word and philosophy people know about. You can also see the difference when grocery shopping. When I went vegan 2 years ago, they didn't even have soy milk in my grocery store. Now they have an entire section with just vegan/vegetarian food!

If it's rising as a new hip trend, it's one that will benefit the planet instead of something stupid and cruel like carrying your chihuahua everywhere in a handbag.

I really like the map feature and how Oregon is always lit up. Can't wait to get back there.
