Awesome! You are doing a great thing for the animals by not eating animal products anymore. What foods do you like to eat?

http://www.theppk.com/ has lots of good vegan recipes if you are somewhat adventurous. The website is run by Isa Chandra Moskowitz, co-author of several great vegan cookbooks. Sme of the recipes are a little complicated, but they usually aren't actually difficult, just a little time consuming.

I'd also recommend google and allrecipes.com for planning meals for whatever ingredients you might have on hand. You can use google to find copycat recipes of things you've had in restaurants too -- just put "vegan" in quoted, otherwise it replaces it with vegetarian (lame!).

I don't cook a ton of Chinese, but stir fries are super easy to put together. Just cook some rice (or any grain you like) and cook veggies in a pan, with or without sauce. Fried rice is good as well and easy to make even with a bag of frozen mixed veggies.

You might like the cookbook Vegan Eats World by Terry Hope Romero -- it has lots of Asian recipes, as well as other international food (obviously). I like to check out cookbooks from the library before buying them so I don't end up with a bunch of cookbooks I never use -- see if your library has a few vegan cookbooks to try.

I've been REALLY loving the recipe vids from 'The Sweetest Vegan' on YouTube: http://www.youtube.com/user/TheSweetestVegan

She puts together the most delicious, incredible-looking dishes and it's really inspired me as a new vegan, personally. I want to try nearly everything she's made, LOL! hungry.gif
