I'm a student finishing my final semester in a mental health counseling program! I'm taking a research class that requires me to put together a small study (not a thesis). A gallup poll inspired me to choose a similar topic for my research: Vegetarians/Vegans and social stigma. I created a survey with 20 questions related to being veg plus demographics questions. The survey is aimed at vegetarians, vegans and others with similar dietary preferences (e.g. flexitarian, raw veg, etc). I would greatly appreciate it if this community could help me out by taking the survey. The questions are all yes/no or multiple choice so it should take less than 5 minutes. I will do an update with the results when the survey is closed in 1 week.

Thank you!!

cool, I took it. I would have liked a sometimes answer for the parts where you feel people judge you negatively or positively or where people give you reactions. I get a mixed bag.

I took it as well. You probably can't release the results for academic/confidentiality reasons but it would be nice to get a general idea of what you found.

your setup won't let me complete your survey. you should really provide options for everyone or let them skip questions

That Gallup poll is interesting, particularly If you have some college or less, you are at 6%, then as a graduate, you drop to 3%, but a post grad is up to 5%. Interesting. Also, survey done.

There was one question you had that I was uncomfortable with because it was so broad. I forget the exact wording but basically it was. "have you ever tried to convince someone to become veg*an?" In the almost 35 years I've been veg*n - the only people I've tried to convince are my two children. I'm more than willing to share - but I don't force my position on others. I think it's detrimental. I answered yes (I mean - come on - Ever [an absolute] in 35 years!), but your question didn't allow for differences of degree.
