I've thought that i might like to sell organic fruit and vegetables, along with other healthy foods, and also sports equipment and eco gadgets, either online or own an actual shop.

Any other thoughts, anyone?

Something I've played with is the idea of a vegan Jenny Craig type weight loss business.

What would you do to make your store special from your competition?

I would start a retail store with nonperishable vegan goods and a portion of the profits would go to vegan charities.
That or a vegan restaurant.

Where I live, in Portland, they have the "vegan mini mall." There are four vegan shops in a row. One is a vegan tattoo parlor, one is a vegan grocery store, one is a vegan clothing store, and one is a vegan bakery. Sweetpea bakery has become quite popular. Their desserts are the best Then only a few miles away there are some vegan restaurants.

When I *do* start making my living the vegany way, it will be as a lawyer under Animal Law.

Vegan dog food that was completely nutritionally sound and not full of all the maize and crap fillers that pretty much all of them are full of.

So an actual decent dog food rather than the crap that is only available at the moment.

A vegan fast food joint or a cupcake shop. Yum!
I want to show that comfort food can still be cruelty free and it might win some people over to the dark side.

Even if you fall on your face, you're still moving forward.

Lot of vegan products are available only in a few countries, being an importer can bring big bucks.

I had an idea kind of like that. I just started for dietitian technician in college.

I was working on a few ideas one I will not say but the other is there is a drive threw yogurt shop close to me that closed down and I joke that I will put in a drive threw curry shop there.

I would (hopefully will) start a combined vegan cafe/bakery/ice cream parlour also selling vegan products that are difficult to find in actual shops. It's not going to happen any time soon, but hopefully in the next ten years it will.

I love the idea of a vegan bakery or fast food place.
My first choice would be vegan Bed & Breakfast in Vermont. Or maybe on Cape Cod or any other water-front city in Massachusetts, like Newburyport.

you guys all have great ideas! Don't let them go by the wayside.....when I'm done with my Integrative Nutrition program, I want to run a very successful Health Coaching business, but before deciding on that, I seriously dreamed of haveing a bistro and bakery

It would be neat to incorporate or have a complete holistic place with a yoga room, good solid healthy food, and the ability to Health counsel all in one place!

My brand new website for health coaching, and where all of my recipes will reside!

Well, if anyone creates an online shoe store with a broad selection, let me know. I will be customer #1. I've only been able to find sites that carry one or two brands and a limited range of styles.

My boyfriend takes me to a vegan-friendly bar for the bar food and it is AWESOME. We don't drink though.

I can't abandon the person I used to be, so I carry her.

I'd LIKE to have one. I think it would be cool to make the paper by ancient methods. People could bring in rags or even clothing with sentimental value. I'd grind them up to make big sheets of paper for their kites. Just an idea.

Oh Oh - and a vegan kids clothing store! With cloth diapers and baby soap and stuff.
There is nothing like that around here! And I have the hardest time shopping for them when it comes to boots, soap, etc...

A proper 5 star vegan hotel with an all-veg*n staff. Some other sucker can run it though.

Mmm there's a company here in Calgary that does pies, I always have a vegan curry pie for lunch. I wish curry wasn't their only vegan lunch option though.
