I like the idea of calcium fortified OJ for my daughters who I'm raising vegan. But the only kind available uses D3, not D2. Does anyone know of any with a vegetarian source of D2?

I don't know of any with D2 but i think Donald Duck and Grower's Pride still don't put vitamin D in their OJ. Also look for generic brands but the generic brands in may area have slowly been adding vit. D3 to their calcium OJ And there might be something in the frozen section if you haven't checked there already.

I really need to start contacting companies and suggesting that they use vit. D2; who knows, maybe one of them will think making a vegan Ca and vit D OJ is worth while.

A plastic hutch is no substitute for a mother. Replace dairy, not mothers.

Lots of other sources of calcium than fortified orange juice, dark leafy greens are better.

True. I have to find ways to make my kids eat more of them. They're only toddlers. Anybody have a good recipe for kale chips?
