I might have bought it as a book, but the Kindle software doesn't run on Linux which is what my computer runs on. Just was well.
I know e-books are probably an inevitability, but I don't want to support the bad things that they will bring like being charged per reading, embedded advertisements, having a corporation track what I read, having corporations being able to cut me off from my books or having a corporation being able to update the content of my books("Gee, I always though Washington was the father of the country, not Lincoln").
Not to mention toxic electronic waste for something that could have been done with paper. Not enough 3rd world labor getting sick pulling our old electronics apart.
