Cosmos Vegan Shoppe and others offer it online.

I'm hoping I will be able to try it someday on a pizza, I just wish it didn't have yeast in it, but eventually I'm going to be retested for my food allergies and intolerances, crossing fingers that that goes away (the yeast one, my celiac never will). I would love to try it on a pizza someday, I still haven't found vegan, Gluten Free, soy and yeast free mozarella. Naked pizzas are great, too, even better, a naked pizza party. It would be nice to have a good old traditional-ish pizza someday, though. *Dreaming *

I love Daiya vegan cheese! I buy it through Vegan Essentials often. My family and I go through it pretty fast. I make everything from mac-n-cheese to grilled cheese with it, and it goes great in lasagna. I put it on baked potatoes, nachos, quesdillas, etc. It is the only vegan cheese I like (well, Tofutti cheese slices are decent on sandwiches). The other brands of vegan cheese out there I have tried are not good tasting. Daiya not only tastes great but melts well, like dairy cheese!

I am glad to hear that Daiya will be released to Whole Foods. I hope it goes to other stores too. Then it will be less expensive than buying it online.

You son of a [email protected]!!! If this is an April fools joke I'm going to be so pissed. I drove countless hours going to ever Whole foods in the Philadelphia area searching for this stuff, I've wasted an insane amount money on shipping cost having this stuff constantly shipped to my house. Eating Daiya Vegan Cheese is a religious experience for me. If this is true, this will start a brand new beautiful chapter of my life.

That made me laugh. Also, I've never even SEEN a Whole Foods store, let alone had the experience of being in one, so I think I'll just have to miss out on the apparently amazing experience that is Daiya Oh well...

Me either! But I am just happy that this highly regarded vegan cheese is going nationwide. It's a game changer!

I will be making my trip today! Some of the restaurants here in Dallas have been using Daiya cheese on pizza and such and I immediately became an addict! I am so looking forward to transitioning to vegan now that I can still have my veggie quesadillas!

Had a reply from them:

Thank you for your interest in Daiya and our deliciously dairy free vegan cheese alternatives!

Though, we are currently focused on the launch of Daiya in USA, then Canada. We are always looking at, and discussing ways to progress to an international launch. I do not have a timeline as to when you can expect to see the product in the UK at this time.

Please keep an eye on our website for details, and you will also receive an automated notification once Daiya becomes available for retail purchase in your area; http://www.daiyafoods.com/where.html

I'm gutted

That cheeze sounds interesting. Although it has pea protein in it, and some say it's really hidden MSG. I'd still try it though.

Made a special trip to Whole Foods yesterday and no Daiya Cheese.... waaaah! I sent an email to both Daiya and Whole Foods and also talked to the Dairy manager about ordering it.
