I want to convince my daughter to become a vegetarian, perhaps my sons too. I want to at least explain why I am vegan. They are all grown up, my daughter has children even. They don't really want to listen to me. I have seen good films on the internet and some other material on why to be vegetarian or vegan and I wonder if anyone here knows where I can find any and can give me a link or two.

Don't try to force your beliefs on others? That is just my opinion.

well, yes, that. but if you'd like to be able to just explain your beliefs, goveg can be helpful in articulating.

My two teenage sons are slowly getting into the idea, esp. the 19 yr. old- he sees how much easier, cheaper, and cleaner it is too!

I was really impressed by the book A Perfectly Contented Meateaters Guide to Vegetarianism. My 15 yr. read a lot of it, and showed much more interest. It's not preachy, and very real.

Don't let the perfect be the enemy of the good

Provide a good and positive example of vegan living. I have a young teen and a pre-teen and I am going to begin educating (but not crushing) them very soon.
