I wish they'd ask the turkey if it feels similarly and would pardon the Pres.

What business is it of theirs? Is there a dress code or something?

He probably wouldn't

Here in the communications center, my manager doesn't care. But if I go out into the offices (or even the kitchen!) the HR lady tells my manager she doesn't like them...when I've only gotten one more since I was hired

But no, to answer your question...there's not a written dress code policy regarding piercings in my department

Update on the rescue rats:

There were 3 rats for adoption 2 girls (sisters) who were in two different foster homes, so could go together or apart. They have just got a male rat in who was going to be neutered. My mom said I could adopt one rat, so I was talking to lady from the rescue. One of the females has been adopted, and someone was supposed to adopt the other two, but never did. I think my mom might let me get both.

Since they're in foster care, and the male has to get neutered before being able to get adopted, it might be around a week before I can get one/them.

I'm excited.

Yeah! O I hope it works out for you...and them!

I don't think there's one here either. Maybe if taken to an extreme, I guess. Most of the time I dress pretty comfy at work but I dress "nice" a few days a week too.

Nice for me = not the same nice as other people. No tucked-in shirts or ties or anything.

Same here. Ours is "business casual"...with an emphasis on the casual. On Friday-Sunday we can wear jeans and "sneakers".

My business casual is generally this pair of comfy slacks, some slip on flats, and a sweater...and when a sweater isn't needed well...a "blouse" that's not too dressy

Definite emphasis on the casual.

I wear sneakers every day. I have "dressy" shoes but they hurt my feet and I don't like wearing them since I walk to work.

On "nice" days, I wear a button-up shirt, usually with "nice" pants but not slacks-slacks. (Like the kind people's dads wear w. a suit...those are so awful)

I agree about the slacks-slacks. I call 'em preacher pants, although people's dad's DO where them They're usually high waters...and the people who wear them usually wear weird socks.

I work in a dark room with five other people. None of the clients see me, so it doesn't matter. I just have to answer the phone and sound nice
