hi everyone

someone stole my laundry basket from the laundry room today. WTF!!

I saw writer boy again and he gave me a mixed CD he made for me. I gave him a cd with a House episode on it so I can get him hooked.

Actually I didn't have that great a day cuz I slept horribly last night so I've been tired and grumpy all day. I guess today hasn't been all bad, though.

I have to bake an oreo cake tomorrow morning...

Ok, that totally sucks about your laundry basket. People steal anything and everything.

OO a CD he made, huh? Was it music that you already liked? Or music that you didn't even know you liked until you heard it?

I have made CD's for friends with music that I think they will like if they hear it, but that they swear up and down they hate it...until they actually do hear it...did that make any sense?

I am always grumpy if I can't sleep.

Oreo cake?? sounds yummy

eew, yes it would.

I sometimes hear new words like that at work or new adjectives for me or things I can do ...sometimes I have to ask someone later on what it meant..

I try to consider it educational

understand that. guess they wanted to make sure that your entire being was brought in instead of just part of it. wouldn't want any part of you to feel left out

Y'know, John Travolta in drag in Hairspray doesn't look like anybody's mother. He just looks like John Travolta in drag.

Well, maybe that's supposed to be the joke. I don't really know.

I have some in my fridge! The contents of TJ's organic sour cream are:

Yay. I ate some I was pretty sure it was safe, it was the regular and light (non-organic) that had gelatin in them.

So its 4AM. Naturally I'm awake as I don't really sleep HOWEVER....

My roommate is legit awake and showered and prepared to hit the mall for 5AM. I mean really. This is the same woman who can never get to work on time for 8AM every weekday.

Shopping does strange things to people. My mom and sister are going up to NH to shop this morning too. They invited me as a formality.....yeah screwww that. I think I'd get more value from sleeping in, hah.

That and everyone's getting home-made gifties this year. Partially ((well, mostly)) because I'm poor. That and I like making stuff vs. buying stuff. Its very rewarding, for me at least.

Thanks. It was really stupid. I was backing out of where I was parked in front of my parents' house after bringing them back home from my sister's house. I was anxious to leave and get home, it was dark, my rear window was still fogged up, I forgot there was a car parked behind me (the father I believe of the woman who lives next door to my parents) and I backed out too fast and hit the car. I didn't get out. I looked out back through the window and didn't see any damage, so I took off. Just as I got home I got a voicemail from my mom telling me to come back, they heard me hit the car next door, came out, tried to flag me down, and told my mom about it. When I returned, they said they took pictures. They were very nice about it. I felt like an idiot. I gave them my insurance info. Even a single damaged headlight can cost a lot to be repaired, so I'll probably let the insurance handle it, unless it's enough that I can pay out of pocket (although my parents said they'd help if necessary) to possibly avoid an insurance rate hike.

I'm usually so careful backing out. My parents were over the moon about how carefully I had just driven them home. But one gets careless. It really rattled me.

nobody was hurt because I hit a parked car and the owner was inside the house. I made sure THEIR Thanksgiving ended crappily, too.

They were very nice and understanding. My mom loves the fact that they're really nice people. I've been driving for over 30 years, and I have managed to back out of parking spaces for a VERY VERY long time without hitting any cars, so this is a first for me.
