Aha!! It's funny how Canada and the UK seems to have more in common with regards to candies and sweets than the US & Canada, despite being neighbours. Like Smarties? Since when are Smarties like Rockets? Smarties are candy coated chocolate.

Yeah I was expecting a slew of people in the hospital for things like "abdominal pain", "Nausea & vomiting", "food poisoning" etc. But it was surprisingly slow today. Let's hope it's as quiet tomorrow since I'm in by myself.

For real?? Or exaggerating? I was talking to my mom in Canada an hour or so ago. She said it was cold there today, like -8C (~17F). As much as I'm looking forward to going home this month, I'm not looking forward to the cold.

No, it seriously almost froze, it was 20F and my hair was pretty wet.

We actually didn't get any calls like that! But I'm sure they'll come. ((I'm on all weekend too, as usual!))

What Im thinking is maybe you have been over moisturizing and that is why it hasn't peeled yet?

... and that could be why

I stained a few shirts of mine with Polysporin!

Its hard - but interesting. I actually really love this class. I have learned so much that ACTUALLY applies to my life... very cool

That sounds really interesting! I might even be interested enought o request a copy... or a summary... or something

I've been at it maybe 45 minutes and have a few inches of knitted material coming out of the bottom. Which is a lot for me. I'm hoping to have a scarf or some armwarmers come Monday, since I'm going to be in a car for six hours tomorrow.

Oh I so need one of these! I tried to learn how to knit a couple of years ago.. and failed miserably. I can do a straight, regular knit, and have been able to do it for years, but that's it'. It would be nice to be able to knit something I could actually use.

Try going out in -40*. That will freeze your hair in a hurry

*I didn't specify F or C because they're equal at -40

Eeeek yeah, when I was in high school I'd wait outside for my bus pretty much every morning for up to a half hour. That wasn't just cold, it was painful.

I remeber a couple of times when I was in Jr High it managed to hit -50C with the windchill and they actually cancelled school because it was so cold. Those days rocked. It was the days that were nearly as cold, but not cold enough to cancel school that sucked

We got school canceled on account of the bitter cold once too! I think it was in '03? or '04? I forget.

I just remember everyone freaking out about going outside with anything exposed and my dad's boss came over that same day wearing a short-sleeve blouse.....granted the guy's pushing 300#, easily.

I think I went out to get the mail or something with just a hoodie on because I like to act like a badass.

I'm paranoid that the cat I'm watching is Hyperthyroid. She's about 14 years old, is always looking for a drink out of the faucet, kind of a chow-hound, a bit thin, and vocalizes CONSTANTLY. I wonder if she's ever had a Senior screen or T4 done hmm..

Do what I did: find a nice boy online who lives in Florida (or insert some other warm location) and then move in with him

Not that I planned it that way

Although Sabby isn't thin at all, she's kind of chunky, because she's part Himalayan. She's actually got something of a middle age spread.

When I was a kid, a story went around the school that if you were caught peeling a banana three ways, it meant you were a monkey. I was VERY careful not to peel my bananas three ways.

It's for 18+ and from what I can gather, you can say whatever you want in it? Go back to the mainpage with the list of forums. It's near the top and in grey letters.
