Karen, I don't mean to look pushy or anything. There are just so many out there that need homes. The purebreds will find their homes but some of these will never get the chance and I hate that.

I'm sure your daughter will give any dog she gets (purebred or not) a good home and that is always a happy ending.

Be pushy, be pushy...it's fine!

The heck with her, I would take one of those in a minute.

She just happened to see a white Shiloh and fell in love. I'm actually surprised at her because she goes on petfinder all of the time and is constantly e-mailing me links of awesome dogs.

The good thing is, it's a ways off, so by the time she actually gets one she will probably change her mind!

I must be insane...I'm supposed to be at work at 9....it's 8:55. Granted, I'm only 8 minutes away, but I'm not even dressed yet. I ended up falling back to sleep...I was only going to rest my eyes for a minute....

Post slutting or whoring, as I like to call it, is essentially when someone just posts a bunch of random things.

I'm finishing this book today if it kills me! I really like the book and it isn't a huge book or anything either. For some reason I haven't been able to concentrate/focus and on top of that I lost my reading glasses.. ::sigh::

It is "Sex, Drugs and Cocoa Puffs (a low culture manifesto)" by Chuck Klosterman. I recommend it as a fun read.

I'm reading a book about The Golden Ratio. It's called 'The Golden Ration', because everyone knows how creative pop-maths writers are!

I like to play putt-putt and I like to go to the driving range and hit the golf ball as hard as I can sometimes. But, that is about as close to golf as I get. My uncle was a putt-putt champion.

The last time there was a golf match on tv (at my brother's house because he hearts golf) I fell asleep. It just isn't my cup of tea. Too slow moving. I heart Hockey!

I hate golf. (Field) hockey used to be the only sport I could stand playing but it is boring to watch. In fact, all sports are boring to watch.

Okay, I'm really going now to read this book. I will be back later. Okay, it really won't be that long. Without my glasses I can only read about 15 or 20 minutes before everything gets blurry. Oh well.

You didn't have to use your book to make my book look stupid!!!

Seriously though, I'm on vacation and I'm doing some fun reads like Klosterman. Foucault's Pendulum sounds pretty interesting though. How do you like it so far?

I have things to do today: a chat with a gallery owner who loves me, a chat with a gallery owner who hates me, a stop at the art supply store, and lunch with my Dad.

it's great, there is a few parts that slow down a tiny bit (it's about a 600 page book), but overall it's great. someone suggested the book to me because i hated the da vinci code and they said "check out this for a good book about conspiracy theory revolving the holy grail/the knights templar/christianity". i like it so much, i also picked up:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Isl...the_Day_Before

to read next.

Tonight I'm going on a "date" with my son to see some stand-up comedy and have dinner out.
