I'm thinking of doing that, but I didn't have much money on me. I'll have to go back and grab a bunch and blanch it and freeze it.

How f'ing lame. They edited out my favourite part of Silence Of The Lambs on this channel. . .

When Agent Starling is walking to the hall to meet Hannibal for the first time one of the prisoners hisses "I can smell your c*nt". They changed it to "I can smell your scent" which makes the part where Hannibal lectors says "I however can not" and then goes on to smell what skin cream she uses, etc complete non-sense.

I bet they'll edit out the part where the same prisoner throws his semen in her hair too.

They shot the semen scene from far down the hall instead of close up so you can't tell what actually happened . . humph.

Most of the people who live downtown either go to school (during the day) or work downtown, presumably during the day, so there isn't much demand for early morning grocery shopping.

Comfm.com has links to online radio feeds worldwide. Many of the links don't work, but I've found a lot of great stations through that site. But LeMouv' FM is the station I've been listening to the most. It's a paris station that plays a mix of english and french music, mostly rock.

OK, I'm a little slow on certain things. I guess the last person to be spotlighted picks the next person.

No, but I'm definitely gonna watch. He's a culinary school drop out so he's gotta have some skills.

So, this afternoon DH and I walked down to a pub we've been wanting to go to, because it's supposed to have a nice big beer garden out back.

So, we get there, order our drinks, and walk out to the back. Mmmm, nice big beer garden with grassy areas and lots of picnic tables.

And kids.

OK so kids are allowed in the beer garden before 6pm, fine.

But the kids are all running around. Mayhem, I tell you. I'm trying to have a cider and enjoy the sunny day, and there's like 6 kids all playing tag in the beer garden. One of them stands at the end of our table (about 10" away from me) and the kid chasing her *climbs up onto our table* and makes some weird grunty noise.

I looked at the kid and his mom caught him and yelled at him to come over. So the two kids go over to their mom and about 15 seconds later, they're back running all over again

After I finished my cider and DH finished his beer, we left.

I dont' mind kids, really... I just don't get why people can't teach their children to be considerate of others...

oh. my. gosh. climbed on the ****ing table?!? what the hell is wrong with people these days?

i'm noticing more and more often that children just aren't brought up the way I was brought up. yes, there are lots of good kids out there, but it's nothing like it was when I was younger. And I'm only 26.
