I am drinking lemon tea at the moment. Long nap has helped my headcold, as has painkillers. The tea is giving off a nice lemony scent.

Ooh! Here's a question for everyone -- for those of you who tend to cry while watching emotionally draining movies, what is the first movie you remember crying during? Mine was The Lion King. I was 6, and it was the scene where Simba runs to where Mufasa is lying. And that music playing in the background. So sad.

Drinking some wine that my BFF recommended to me. It's far too sweet, I doubt I'll be able to finish it. It tastes like slightly old grape juice. Blech.

Nope. It's a red lambrusco. I had Moscato once, and that was enough for me. (Again, far too sweet. Yuck.)

I can't even finish a second glass of this stuff. Pouring the rest out.

Use the bottle to mull spices and mix with cider or to make sangria or to cook fruit and make a cobbler with!

Pretty sure I'm not going to take wine advice from that friend again.
I should just stick to beer.

My throat hurts, and I'm exhausted. I hope I'm not coming down with something.

Did you write the book of love, and do you have faith in God above,
If the Bible tells you so? Do you believe in rock Ân roll,
Can music save your mortal soul, And can you teach me how to dance real slow?

Watching Iron Chef. I just not realized that I actually like watching cooking shows.

Thank you.

I actually had a NICE dream a few days ago, as opposed to bad dreams or just plain weird dreams. It didn't last long but it was lovely. I was in the mountains, surrounded by really tall pines and redwoods, and breathing fresh, clean, crisp mountain air. I was looking up at the trees in awe of their majesty. I was alone; it was quiet. Just me and nature.

And then the alarm went off and I woke up.

That tends to be how it goes though, doesn't it? The alarm always interrupts the good ones!

I'd love to see you make that dream a reality. Pack a picnic with your favorite treats and go have a lovely nature walk and picnic in the mountains!

I sleep so little I don't need an alarm unless I am traveling, in other time zones etc. and even then, I wake before the alarm 9 times out of 10. It's uncanny.

I do that on occasion. However, all things being equal, I typically do not wake up at a time that would qualify as "before the alarm" unless I believe an alarm is in fact set. I wonder how that works.

I fully expect a picture of an employee of the month plaque, with the name "yally" under the picture, in the near future.

Essentially yes. It's not really something people do, these kids are just drunk and figured they could do some tennis grunting this beautiful Sunday morning.
