I got a lot accomplished this weekend, including some meal prep for the week, apartment cleaning and plenty of time with my honey.

I got a call from the animal shelter saying that the person with the application pending on the cat my roommate fell in love with the last few weekends when we were volunteering changed their mind, so now we can adopt him! Now we just need to discuss if we -should- add another cat to the household.

I met someone in my school who's vegan!!!!! She had friend requested me on facebook a while ago, and I didn't know her so I didn't add her right away, but I just looked right now and found out she was vegan. Hoping to make a new friend, it would be really helpful to have someone else in the same town to talk to, because these past few days I've been on the verge of becoming lacto-ovo.
