So seeing as I'm a university student I thought it might be fun to have a thread where people could create courses that they wish they could study. It doesn't have to be university/college level, it can be any level or qualification.

Anyway, here are mine:

BSc in Insomnia Prevention and Sleep Studies

NEWT in DADA (That's Defence Against the Dark Arts if you hadn't guess by the NEWT ( Nastily Exhausting Wizarding Test) )

BSc in Care of Magical Creatures (with an optional module on Gollum Management.)

BA in Tolkien Studies (including learning the languages.)

BSc in Vegan Nutrition and Cookery.

They can be anything you want (and yes you can include Harry Potter references, I have )

I used to work for a research lab called ACAT (Applied Cognition and Technology) Laboratory. There grad students with some undergrads (like me) studied anthrooorphism as it relates to humans and technology and humans and animals. I actaully helped develop a study based on the SiPets Wii game and what criteria people used to make their pets as it is related to teh extent that they amphropomorphized them. However, I left the lab for my own PhD before the conclusion of tehstudy so I don't know the results but this makes me want to contact my old professor (who is a vegetarian along with her husband another professor and their kids) and find out. Oh, and as I was leaving there was also talk about anthropomorphizing toasters or blenders study, I can't remember which...

Anyway, now to my own courses:

BA in Knitting Without Couting
BS in Star Trek Space Exploration
PhD in Time Traveling, with supervisor Doc Brown

B.A. in Future Prediction -- cross-disciplinary approach to making predictions about the future, from simple, accurate predictions (like where Venus will be in the sky in 400 years) to more difficult, speculative predictions (like economic forecasting), with plenty of error analysis, for both models of how the future develops from the present and in our own inaccuracies in how we perceive or measure the present. Qualitative and quantitative predictions are both analyzed. Includes a mixture of statistics and philosophy, along with splashes of a few other fields.

PhD in quantum coin-op engineering. After taking this course, the student will know just how unlikely it is to win something from one of those claw games, do your laundry without losing a sock, and getting a something decent from one of those toy vending machines(hint: success involves alternate realities, pocket wormholes, and the possible collapse of our universe).
