Work on yourself first. Set an an example for others if you want to convert them. Learn to prepare good, healthy vegetarian food for yourself, or you will likely go back to meat eating.

Eating a vegetarian meal around my dad felt "different" than having a vegetarian meal at mine. Idk why?

Have you really never eaten something like a grilled cheese or a salad in front of your dad? There are plenty of vegetarian meals that I'm sure you've eaten around him.

Yeah, jacket potato. Maybe it was different cause we had quern mince at his earlier. It was different seeing him cook a vegetarian product.

You're kind of missing the point. I am 100% certain he has cooked food that doesn't contain meat plenty of times. I'd be concerned if he ate meat at every single meal he's ever had.
