my favorite veg food has to be my homemade veggie lasagna. I could eat it all week long when I make a pan.

I can't remember so much of the "before time" and there aren't many foods I don't like, but I am a big fan of Indian cuisine, which I never had the opportunity to try in my omni days.

You're looking for new ideas. What do you typically eat now? Are there any dishes you used to enjoy that you would like help veg*nizing? What are some of your favourite ingredients? Maybe we could suggest new ways of preparing them.

My favorite before: I loved, loved, loved fast food... I know, I know. Chick fil a chicken sandwiches were my favorite. I'm surprised they haven't gone out of business without me.

My favorite now: Tomatoes on anything. Sandwiches, wraps, by themselves with lemon pepper, mixed with beans, on veggie pizza. I can't seem to get enough. I try to always add raw spinach, mushrooms, bell peppers, sometimes avocado to whatever I make with them. Maybe I am just in a phase.

My favourite thing before was burgers or the spicy chicken from Wendy's, I was obsessed. A close second was tacos, which are still a favourite.

I couldn't choose a favourite now!!! I have a much greater appreciation for real food. I think shishkabobs maybe, with brown rice and thai sauce. Mexican food - any of it, Lebanese food, Indian food! Bah, I just love food haha.

My favorite meal was beef stroganoff, but the mushroom equivalent we make now is a pretty good substitute.

My favorite food before was any kind of fish/ seafood. There's not really a substitute for that, but I did find a vegetarian crab cake recipe and tofu has a pretty fish-y taste to me.

My favorites now are pineapples and pasta... and chocolate, haha. They were also favorites before, though. I'm still trying everything out though. Today is day 30

Pizza! Just went from meat & veggies, to just veggies.

I also never tried Indian food before going veggie. I actually hated curry the only time I had tried it, when my mom made a curry something at home. Now it's one of my favorites.

You're gonna make me puke my pants.

Past favorite was baked fish and cajun potatoes.. now I substitute that craving with Mock Tuna Salad!

Favorite NOW has to be either; 1) Lentil Loaf, 2) Cornbread & Chilli, 3) Pizza of any kind (no cheese), 4) Chick'n sandwiches (Quorn) or 5) a chick'n pasta bake.

I'm like molshay said above though, I can't choose just one.. I love food wayyyyy too much!

Favorite before was chicken fingers, and maybe mashed potatoes.

Now, mashed potatoes (though I rarely make them), pumpkin, tofu, avocado, noodles, dates... too many! There are so many good foods out there!

The are so many things that I love. I'm a huge food fan! My favorite foods before were probably Mexican, Italian, and stir-fry. No change in that department. Now I just don't have to go through the charade of adding meat to any of it!

Biryani is an Indian rice dish with loads of veggies and delicious spices. There are lots of variations (veg*n friendly and otherwise) but here is an example

Before: Chicken with rice I think. I loved meat pies too and other junk food.

After: It varies, but overall I think pea soup. It's almost funny because it's such a cheap and unglamorous food, but I just love it. I liked pea soup as an omni too, but the vegetable version is so much better. I still like many of the same foods I did as an omni, I just make veggie versions of them.

Now: Still Pasta.

I'm glad it could be veganized so easily.

Mine are the same, really. Tacos, lasagna, chili. Though I try a much bigger selection of food now, which has for the most part been pretty yummy. Veg curry is amazing. All kinds of pasta. We tried a macrobiotic soup/noodle place out here, it was nice to have some more traditional food - without worrying about the pork or spam.
