this is my first post and I hope any vegan artist can share some guide.
recently i found out that most watercolor paints contain gelatin especially those winsor newton artist watercolor, since then i stop painting and couldn't find alternatives.
i was wondering does anyone know which brand of watercolor paints that is free from animal ingredient? i heard some one said before that cotman watercolor is free from animal ingredient, is that so?
for the watercolor papers i m using strathmore as they mentioned in their site they aren't using gelatin for sizing. also i bockingford watercolor paper is ok to use as no gelatin.
the color part is tricky and i couldn't find info anywhere. i miss painting.
thank you for advance.

Where did you get the info that gelatin is in watercolor paints and perhaps some papers? I had no idea. I knew about the brushes often being problematic though. Horse or pig hairs.
