Just wanted to share my latest recipe - split pea soup! Tbh, split pea soup was never on my "cravings list", but when I found out how high in protein it is, I was sold. Plus, it was super-easy to make, and the end result is super-tasty! I hope you enjoy!

Split pea soup was the first thing I cooked in my InstantPot. And it is still one of my favorites.
The recipe I use is called 5 min split peas soup. and although the pressured cooking time is 5 minutes it takes like 20 minutes to reach pressure and then like another 20 minutes to naturally release.
The other thing about it that i like is i just cut the veggies in quarters and throw them in. then after its cooked, I just hit them with the immersion blender. No chopping.

The Instant Pot is really the best! I've always loved split pea and always made it vegan, using liquid smoke or curry powder, and now sometimes smoked paprika
