So, I decided to try to make a soup I normally make, but put in Lentils. I came across a recipe online with Quinoa in it. I could not find it after I left the page so I just sort of guess. This was so easy to make and came out amazing. I did not really measure much with the spices so the real cooks out there can recommend spices. Here is what I did.
2 cups of uncooked lentils that I rinsed.
1/2 cup of Quinoa
28 oz dices tomatoes
4 cups of veggie stock
1 cup of water
Carrots-us just threw in half a bag of baby carrots
cumin
onion powder
garlic powder
Paprika
chili powder
curry powder
soy sauce at end
Siracha at end
I used around a tablespoon of each spice, but did pour in quite a bit of chili powder and curry. I originally used 2 cups of veggie broth, but it got too thick. The end product was like a stew or chili. It was amazing and required no cooking skills at all. I cooked it on low, but ended turning it off after 7 hours.
