I may be 13, but I love to cook. I decided to share how I prepare my favorite veggie burger with you! 

 

Ingredients:

SOL veggie burger

Cheese (Ignore if your vegan) 

Ketchup 

Lettuce

Pickles and/or relish

Mustard

Onion

Any hamburger bun 

 

Seasoning sauce ingredients: (TRUST ME THIS IS NEEDED FOR THE BURGER)

Dijon mustard

Barbecue sauce

Garlic Salt 

Olive oil

Preparation of the burger: 

Lightly oil a pan. It doesn't matter what size. Place the burger on the grill on medium-high heat for 4-6 minutes each side or until golden light brown color. After the burger has been grilled, put the buns on the pan for 1-2 minutes or until lightly toasted. Heavily coat the burger in the seasoning sauce (to prepare it, see the preparation of the seasoning sauce.) Put the cheese, lettuce, ketchup, mustard, onion, pickles and/or relish, and the burger bun on the burger. 

 

Preparation of the seasoning sauce:

Mix together all of the ingredients. It should be a dark red color. 

 

Enjoy your burger!

learnvegetarian, this sounds good! I was never a burger fan as an omni, but I do like a good veggie burger. For me, a burger isn't a burger without barbecue sauce. I can't remember the last time I ate a veggie burger without bbq sauce. Thanks for sharing.

 

btw, what is a SOL veggie burger?

Thanks I got some veggie burgers just now and I will try this sound good minus the ketchup cause Im not a fan of it on my burgers. Im impressed a 13 yera old that cooks, awesome
