Tofu and Hummus Sandwhich w/Roasted Red Peppers

This recipe is suitable for a: vegetarian/vegan diet

Preparation Time: 15 - 20 minutes

Serves: 1



1/4 Firm Tofu

1 + 1/2 Tablespoon Organic Tamari Soy Sauce

1/2 Tablespoon Organic Garlic Powder

1/2 Tablespoon Organic Minced Onion

Organic Salt & Pepper to taste.

1-2 Organic Roasted Red Peppers

1 Tablespoon Hummus (Homemade is great)

2 Slices of Organic Bread



1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees.

2. Cut pieces of tofu in desired shape (rectangle, cube, square, crumbled).

3. Marinate tofu in tamari sauce, garlic powder, minced onion, salt & pepper.

4. Put the marinated tofu in the oven for 10-15 minutes, or until golden.

5. When tofu is finished baking, take it out of the oven.

6. Cut up pieces of roasted red peppers.

7. Toast bread and spread the hummus, place tofu and roasted red peppers.

8. Eat!

This is a quick, easy and cheap sandwich to make. Plus, it's delicious!
