Penne Artichoke Alfredo dish
box of Penne pasta (wheat is fine too if you prefer)
jar of Alfredo sauce of your choosing
can of artichoke hearts
garlic powder (or minced garlic)
white wine (optional)
Parmesan (or mozzarella)
Boil water in a pot for the pasta. When boiled toss in as many penne as you'd like. Stir occasionally for 10-12 mins or as instructed by box.
When the pasta gets closer to being done in the last 5 mins, bring out a sauce pan and on medium heat throw in the Alfredo, Italian seasoning, garlic powder (or minced garlic), mushrooms and artichoke hearts (you can choose to separate the hearts if you like or leave them in the ball their in). (If you'd like to enhance more flavor, I recommend adding a little bit of white wine to the sauce, about a cup).
Once pasta is done rise, and put in a bowl. When the sauce is done pour over the pasta in the bowls. sprinkle parsley and Parmesan to your liking. Enjoy!
