Me, What do you want

Brother, Raioli

Me *very long stare*

Brother, Lasagna?

Me,*very long stare*

Brother, Awwww fine we don't have to

Me, No I'll make it just a lot of prep work

Brother *look as happy as a puppy*

Me, *sigh* more work for me

-Hummus [any flavor, I went with a jalpeno cilantro]

-Lasagna sheets [find some premade ones cause trust me I'm using dry and it makes the wait time far longer]

-Daiya Cheese [Mozzeralla or whatever alternative cheese you use]

-Preheat oven, I go with 350 and do a slower cook and a longer cook

-If using dry Lasagna sheets soak these suckers till they get good and floppy

-While lasagna is soaking in water, prepare your two sauces

First sauce, tofu

-Soft tofu works the best for this. Press and make sure your tofu is completely dry and fresh tasting. Then put a good amount, I put half a block of this stuff in a bowl. Then spoon some of your hummus into the bowl. Go to town start mashing it, until it turns into a paste. Make sure there is enough coverage of tofu and hummus

Second sauce, alternative cheese

-Same deal with, in another mixing bowl put your alternative cheese, then put the hummus and mix around till it gets paste like

-Next spray your pan down with Pam and then lay down some marinara, the first bed of marinara

-Hopefully your sheets are wobbly or you're using the soft lasagna sheet, layer your marinara bed with lasagna sheets

-Then put down either or sauce down, I put the tofu sauce down, marinara

-Layer, cheese sauce, marinara

-Layer, tofu sauce, marinara

Do thos for a while, till you reach the top, spread the last of the marinara atop of it, and spread some alternative cheese atop.

Put it in the oven for 40minutes or so

Let it cook

Take it out when done, let it cool

Wow, I have never put hummus or tofu in lasagna but that sounds pretty delicious... drool.gif
