Hello, everyone! I am very new to cooking and in an effort to eat better, I have purchased a steamer. :] I am very excited about it, but I don't really know quite what to make in it.
I would really appreciate it if anyone could please give me any ideas of vegan things I can make and possibly recipes! I know you can make soups, pastas, and oatmeal, but I've never really made anything before so I'm not too sure where to start. I'm looking for any ideas as far as dinner, breakfast, etc. Thank you in advance!

Steamers are easy, but slow.
Just put stuff in a bowl, put it in, turn it on. That's the bottom line of every recipe.
Whether that's pasta, oats, rice, anything.
Put in bowl. Turn on.
Starchy stuff will tend to stick together though, as it does.
But if you steam dry pasta, it will glue itself together... so you'll really just have a big lump of noodle...
But, mix in some veggies and you can space them out enough that you should be able to break them apart. I've never done this, but in theory it should work.
Anything that's dry will absorb water from the steam and become hydrated. Things that are already wet just get cooked.
