Thumbs up seasonal sweet treat

I came up with this variation of halvah, sorta. There are alot of pecan tress in the area and they are free for the taking, unless they are in someone's yard..but many fall into the street. So, If not around fresh pecans they can be purchased at the store. Here's the recipe.

Fresh shelled pecans, I use a mortar and pestle to grind them up and place aside.
One small packet Artisana coconut butter massaged until soft and mallible
7 Medjool dates placed in a bowl of warm water to soften

remove the seed of the date and mash them with a fork or spoon or rock. Add the coconut butter and blend well. Make little balls and roll them in the ground pecans.

yummy, sweet, delightful!!!
