Oatmeal, banana, raison, flax cookies

Category: Desserts - Cookies

Suitable for a: vegan diet

1 cup flour

1/2 cup flax meal

1 1/4 cups oats

1 tsp sea salt

1/2 baking soda

2/3 cups brown sugar

2/3 cups white sugar

vanilla - to taste

raisons - to taste

Preheat over to 350 degrees.

In a large bowl, combine the flour, flax meal, oats, salt, baking soda and sugars.

In a small bowl, mash your banana and add the oil. Then add the vanilla.

Add the banana mixture to the flour mixture and mix together. Then, add the raisons and walnuts.

Plop down 1 inch balls onto a cookie sheet. and bake for 9-11 minutes.

Makes 4 dozen cookies. (I ate at least 4 cookies worth of dough, so maybe more)

OMG this is such a good recipe! I used cranberries instead of raisins. I found that I needed about 1 cup of oil instead of the recommended 3/4 cup.
